Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to establish new academic programmes.

This approval follows a Resource Verification visit conducted by a panel of experts.

The panel assessed the availability of human and material resources needed for the proposed programmes.

New Undergraduate Programmes

The following undergraduate courses will commence in the 2025/2026 academic session:

  • B.Sc. Wildlife and Eco-Tourism Management
  • B.Sc. Forest Resource Management
  • B.Sc. Hydrology and Water Resource Management
  • B.Sc. Climate Science and Agricultural Meteorology
  • B.Sc. Cooperative Studies
  • B.Sc. Development Studies

New Postgraduate Programmes

The following postgraduate programmes have also been approved:

  • PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D. Mechatronics Engineering
  • PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D. Entrepreneurship Studies
  • Professional Master in Integrated Water Resources Management
