The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially named Dr. Titus Adedeji Adeniyi as the new Registrar and Mr. Olukayode Osinuga as the new Bursar.
These appointments were confirmed on October 9, 2024, during the university’s 110th Statutory Meeting of the Governing Council.
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, expressed the university’s dedication to transparency and merit in its recruitment processes.
The selection of these officials followed a detailed process initiated in 2023, though it experienced some delay due to a change in Governing Council members.
HRM Olabomi reaffirmed FUNAAB’s reputation as a centre of excellence, highlighting the importance of all stakeholders working together to continue the university’s progress.
He praised the outgoing Acting Registrar, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Dawodu, for her hard work and commitment during her time in office.

Dr. Titus Adedeji Adeniyi – New Registrar
Dr. Titus Adedeji Adeniyi, the newly appointed Registrar, brings a strong academic and professional background.
He holds a B.Sc, M.Sc, and PhD in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
Prior to his appointment, he served as the Director of Human Resources and Development at Osun State University (UNIOSUN).
Dr. Adeniyi is a member of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and the Association of University Administrators (AUA), based in the UK.
He also represented the Congregation on the Governing Council of UNIOSUN.
Mr. Olukayode Osinuga – New Bursar
Mr. Olukayode Osinuga, the newly appointed Bursar, is a skilled accountant and administrator with a wealth of experience.
He earned his B.Sc in Accounting from Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) and his M.Sc from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
In addition, he holds an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from FUNAAB.
Mr. Osinuga is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
He previously served as the Acting Bursar at FUNAAB and the Bursar at the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in Ondo.
Both Dr. Adeniyi and Mr. Osinuga will officially assume their new roles on October 10, 2024.
