Federal Polytechnic Ilaro (ILAROPOLY) has announced the dates for the Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time entrance exams for the 2024/2025 academic session.
This update applies to all candidates applying for admission into HND full-time programmes.
The exams are scheduled over two days, covering several schools and departments.

Entrance Examination Schedule
The HND entrance exams will be held at specific dates and times for each school.
Day 1: Tuesday, 5th November 2025
- Time: 8:00 A.M.
- Schools and Departments:
- School of Management Studies: Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, Marketing, Public Administration, Taxation
- School of Communication and Information Technology: Library and Information Science, Mass Communication, Music Technology, Office Technology and Management
- School of Environmental Studies: Architectural Technology, Art and Design, Building Technology, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geo-informatics, Transportation Planning and Management, Urban and Regional Planning
Day 2: Thursday, 7th November 2025
- Time: 8:00 A.M.

- School of Agricultural Technology: Agricultural Extension and Management, Animal Production Technology, Crop Production Technology

Submission Deadline for Application
The submission deadline for all HND Full-Time online applications is 1st November 2024.
Required Documents for the Screening Exam
All HND candidates must bring three sets of specific documents to the examination centre.
- Printed copies of the Acknowledgement and Examination Slips
- Clear copies of the ND Notification of Result and O/Level Result
- Industrial Attachment Completion Letter (IT Letter)
Examination Venue and Details
The exam venue is the Polytechnic ICT Centre, West Campus.
All entrance exams will be computer-based (CB).
