The Ban Ki-Moon Centre Global Citizen Scholarship Program provides educational opportunities, networking experiences, and mentorship for young African leaders dedicated to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A total of 14 African scholars will be selected, along with three students from the Management Center Innsbruck, forming a group of 17 changemakers.

- Participation in the MCI Summer School on Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development.
- Special skills training with experts and organisations.
- Peer-to-peer mentorship from former scholars.
- Attendance at the RELX Inspiration Day 2025.
- Support for a personal SDG Micro-Project to address local community needs.
- USD $500 seed grant for project implementation.
- Project management training and guidance.
Who Can Apply
To qualify, candidates must:
- Be African citizens from any country.
- Be between 20 and 35 years old.
- Show commitment to the SDGs and global citizenship.
- Provide proof of English proficiency (Level B2 – European Standards).
- Have completed at least a Master’s degree (a first-year Master’s student may be considered in exceptional cases).
