Admission Open to Military, Paramilitary Personnel, and Civilians

NAFCONS welcomes applications from military and paramilitary personnel as well as civilians.

Admission will be conducted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and applicants must meet certain criteria.

Admission Requirements for Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences (NAFCONS) Post UTME

To qualify for admission into NAFCONS, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. JAMB Requirement: All applicants must have applied through JAMB.
  2. O’ Level Results: Applicants must have a minimum of 5 credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
  3. Age Limit: You must be between 17 and 26 years old by December 2024.
  4. Nationality: Only Nigerians by birth are eligible.
  5. UTME Score: You must have scored at least 170 points in the 2024 UTME.
  6. First Choice: NAFCONS must be your first choice during your UTME registration.
  7. Subject Combination: The required subjects for UTME and Post-UTME are Use of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Any candidate who did not take this combination will not be considered.

Application Process for NAFCONS Post UTME 2024/2025

The application process is simple, and applicants are required to follow these steps:

  1. Visit the NAFCONS website and download the application form.
  2. No Post-UTME Forms for Sale: The college is not selling any Post-UTME forms. However, a non-refundable fee of N5,000 will be charged for logistics related to the screening exercise.
  3. The fee should be paid in cash at the College Finance Office.
  4. Return the completed application form along with the following documents:
    • Photocopy of O’ Level results
    • Secondary School Testimonial
    • Birth Certificate
    • Certificate of State/Local Government of Origin
    • 2024 UTME result slip
    • Four (4) recent passport photographs

Important Dates and Venue

  • Date of Post UTME: The screening exercise will take place from 21st to 25th October 2024.
  • Venue: The screening will be held at Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences, Nigerian Air Force Base Kaduna.

The Delta State Police Command has exposed an internet fraud academy that lured over 100 teenagers with promises of training in Bitcoin and forex trading.

This shocking revelation came after soldiers from the 3rd Battalion of the Nigerian Army arrested the suspects at an estate in Warri.

The Arrest of Over 100 Suspected Fraudsters

On Wednesday, the Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, narrated the disturbing story on his X page.

He explained that the teenagers arrived at the so-called academy, only to discover that they were trapped in a notorious cybercrime ring known as “Hustling Kingdom.”

The school, disguised as a training centre, was actively engaged in cybercrime activities, leading to the arrest of 123 suspects by the Nigerian Army.

How the Fraud Academy Was Exposed

According to Edafe, the arrest followed after one of the trapped teenagers managed to contact a family member through a laptop provided by the academy operators.

The family immediately alerted the military, which led to the swift arrest of the suspects, most of whom were between the ages of 17 and 20.

Edafe stated that the suspects were promised opportunities to learn Bitcoin trading and forex but were instead coerced into joining a cybercrime network.

The Modus Operandi of the Fraud Academy

Edafe further revealed that the fraudsters’ strategy involved agents flaunting fake wealth on social media platforms.

These agents convinced unsuspecting young boys from places like Kaduna, Akwa Ibom, and Ibadan to join the fraudulent scheme, promising them lucrative trading opportunities.

Once lured into the estate, the teenagers were physically abused and only fed when the operators felt like it, according to Edafe’s statement.

Continued Investigations by Authorities

Efforts to confirm whether the operators of the academy had been arrested remained inconclusive.

The police and military authorities are continuing their investigations to bring all involved in the scam to justice.
