ABCOAD Gets NBTE Accreditation for 12 programmes

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted accreditation to 12 programmes at Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta (ABCOAD).

This approval applies to both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) levels.

Accreditation Details

A letter dated 14th February 2025 confirmed the accreditation results.

The Director of the Monotechnic Programmes Department, Sama’ila Tanko, signed the approval.

Impact of Accreditation

Accreditation guarantees that academic programmes meet national and global standards.

The Provost, Prof. M.A. Wailare, stated that this will strengthen the institution’s credibility.

He credited the Kano State Government, led by Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for supporting the process.

The institution’s staff, department heads, and stakeholders played key roles in securing the approval.
